For the love of Mother Earth
My first memory of flowers is the sweet scent of the hundred-year-old lilac bush on my grandmother’s property. I spent hours playing among its branches, carefully bringing a favorite stem to my bedside. To this day, the first hint of lilac in May connects me to her.
That early love shaped how I see beauty, memory, and meaning.

Locally Sourced Flowers
We prioritize Michigan-grown flowers whenever they're in season and available, supporting local growers and reducing our environmental impact.
Foam Free Designs
We never use foam, synthetic sprays, or chemicals, prioritizing both your safety and ours. Instead, we embrace reusable materials – chicken wire, floral frogs, willow branches, & moss.
Composting
We compost organic waste to nourish local flower farms and our own garden, returning nutrients to the soil for future blooms.
Picked with Care
After years in the floral industry, I noticed how often flowers traveled thousands of miles for a single day, bringing pesticides, excess packaging, and waste along the way. I knew there was another way.
At Pachamama, we take a more intentional approach, sourcing locally grown blooms when available to support Michigan farmers and tread more lightly on the earth.
Our sustainability practices extend beyond the flowers. We design without floral foam, using natural mechanics and materials that can be reused, repurposed, or returned to the earth.
Each arrangement celebrates beauty with intention and care.
